2024 NEET PG course കളിലേക്ക് all india quota വഴി ഗവൺമെന്റ് / ഢീംഡ് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജുകളിലേക്കുള്ള മുന്നാംഘട്ട അലോട്ട്മെന്റ് mcc.nic.in എന്ന വെബ്സൈറ്റിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചു. എന്നാൽ സ്ഥിരതാമസക്കാരായതു കൊണ്ടുമാത്രം PG സീറ്റുകൾ അതാത് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിൽ അനുവദിക്കുന്നത് ഭരണഘടനാ വിരുദ്ധമാണെന്നും, തുല്യ അടിസ്ഥാന അവകാശങ്ങൾക്ക് എതിരാണെന്നും സുപ്രീംകോടതി അറിയിച്ചു. UG course കൾക്ക് domicile seat അനുവദിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്നും, എന്നാൽ specialisation നുള്ള PG program കൾക്ക് അത് അനുവദിക്കാനാവുകയില്ല എന്നും കോടതി ജനുവരി 29 ന് നടന്ന സിറ്റിംഗിൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
