JEE Advanced 2026: Registration opens April 23 – Exam on May 17
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) system has officially opened the JEE Advanced 2026 registration window from April 23, 2026 (10:00 IST) on the official portal jeeadv.ac.in. Qualified candidates who cleared JEE Main 2026 can apply until May 2, 2026. The prestigious examination is scheduled for Sunday, May 17, 2026, serving as the gateway to 23 IITs and ~17,000 B.Tech/BE seats.

- 1 Visit the official website: jeeadv.ac.in
- 2 Login using your JEE Main 2026 application number and password.
- 3 Fill personal details, academic info & select preferred exam cities.
- 4 Upload scanned documents (photo, signature, category certificate if applicable).
- 5 Pay registration fee via debit/credit card, net banking or UPI.
- 6 Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.

ELIGIBILITY Only top 2,50,000 candidates (including reserved categories) who qualify JEE Main 2026 can apply for JEE Advanced.
AGE LIMIT General category candidates must be born on or after October 1, 2001. Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PwD.
NO CORRECTION WINDOW As per past trends, there is no correction window for JEE Advanced application form. Double-check all details before final submission.
RESERVATION CERTIFICATES OBC-NCL/EWS/SC/ST/PwD candidates must upload certificates issued on or after April 1, 2026. If unavailable, upload a signed declaration form now and submit original during JoSAA counselling.
Online examination centres are available in all major districts across Kerala. Candidates can choose preferences during registration:
- Recent passport size photograph & signature
- Class 10 certificate (Date of Birth proof)
- Class 12 (Plus Two) mark sheet / certificate
- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwD) – issued after April 1, 2026 (or declaration if not available yet)
- PwD certificate (if applicable) in prescribed format
After the exam on May 17, the provisional answer key and response sheet will be released around May 21. Final answer key is expected on June 1, 2026 with the result declaration. Qualified candidates will then participate in JoSAA counselling 2026 starting first week of June (6 rounds online) for seat allocation to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
