What the NTA’s latest notification says
In its digital notification issued late Monday evening, the testing agency also addressed two major concerns raised by candidates and parents in recent weeks: city allocation fairness and exam security.
Over 99% get preferred city
Citing data from the city intimation slips, the NTA reported that 99.2% of candidates have been allotted their first-choice examination city. Officials stated that this was achieved through an optimized centre allocation algorithm, significantly reducing the need for long-distance travel.
Strict protocols for fair conduct
The NTA reiterated that comprehensive anti-malpractices measures — including CCTV surveillance, AI-based proctoring, and biometric verification — will be in place across all centres to ensure a transparent and equitable examination process.
NTA’s final advice to aspirants
In a final note addressed to students, the agency advised candidates to download their admit cards well in advance and thoroughly verify all printed details. “Trust the preparation you have invested in over the past year,” the statement read, while also urging students to prioritize their health and mental well-being in the final leg before the exam.
